Complete process flow

1. Pre-treatment section

Sieving and grading:

  • Adopting double-layer tumbler screen, the upper layer removes coarse impurities such as shells and gravel.

  • The lower layer ensures the effective minerals to enter the subsequent process, avoiding the waste of resources.

  • High-pressure water gun rinsing to remove clay and organic impurities thoroughly.

2. Roughing enrichment section

Pre-enrichment of gravity separation:

  • The spiral chute group carries out preliminary enrichment, utilizing the difference in specific gravity of minerals to obtain heavy sand rough concentrate.

  • Shaking table sorting to further increase the concentrate grade, by adjusting the stroke to adapt to different mineral characteristics

Wet magnetic separation:

  • Preliminary separation of magnetic (ilmenite) and non-magnetic minerals by a medium-strength magnetic separator.

  • The magnetic field strength can be adjusted to ensure the best sorting effect.

3. Selection and purification section

Drying process:

  • Indirectly heated dryer with precise temperature control (80-120°C).

  • The surface properties of the minerals are preserved, creating optimal conditions for subsequent sorting.

Dry magnetic separation:

  • Multi-roll magnetic separator realizes the graded separation of ilmenite and improves the concentrate grade.

  • Zircon ore special magnetic separator for zircon's weak magnetic characteristics of efficient separation.

Electrostatic purification:

  • High-voltage electrostatic separator utilizes the difference in electrical conductivity to separate rutile and zircon

  • Arc plate electrostatic separator ensures the separation precision and recovery rate through 4-5 layers of separating plates.
