Product Overview
Hydrocyclone is a kind of high-efficiency centrifugal separation equipment, which is mainly used for the classification, desliming and thickening operation of ore slurry. This equipment realizes the separation of coarse and fine particles through the principle of centrifugal force, which has the characteristics of simple structure, large handling capacity and high efficiency of classification, and has been widely used in the ore dressing process of metal mines.

Structure and working principle

🏗️ Equipment Structure

• Upper structure: cylindrical cylinder, with tangential feeding pipe.

• Lower structure: conical separation chamber, with sand sinker at the bottom.

• Core components: center overflow pipe, wear-resistant lining (rubber/silicon carbide, etc.)

• Specification series: Φ50-Φ660mm with various specifications available

🔄 Working Principle

• Slurry tangential entry: pressure 0.5-2.5kg/cm², flow rate 5-12m/s.

• Centrifugal separation: coarse and heavy particles are thrown to the wall of the spiral downward.

• Graded discharge:

  • Sedimentation: discharged from the bottom sedimentation nozzle

  • Overflow: fine particles form an internal spiral upward flow through the overflow pipe discharge
