I. Product Introduction
Monazite Magnetic Separator is a dry permanent magnet strong magnetic separation equipment specialized in sorting monazite. It adopts the design of ferrite and rare earth NdFeB composite magnetic system, which is especially suitable for efficient sorting of weakly magnetic minerals such as monazite, yttrium phosphorite, tungsten ore, etc. The machine has a three-level gradient magnetic field configuration, which is light weight and energy-saving compared with the traditional electromagnetic machine. Equipment structure and working principle
1. Structure

  • Feeding system: vibration feeding device, to ensure uniform feeding.

  • Magnetic separation system:

    • First-class iron removal drum

    • Secondary medium and strong magnetic drum

    • Three-stage strong magnetic drum

  • Collecting system: Stainless steel separating plate + concentrate/tailings hopper.

  • Control system: Frequency control system

2. Working Principle
After pre-treatment, the material uniformly enters into the first level of iron removal roller, strong magnetic impurities are removed; then into the second level of medium-strength magnetic roller, sorting out the main target minerals; and finally through the third level of strong magnetic roller to recover the residual weak magnetic minerals. The rotating speed of each magnetic roller can be adjusted independently to optimize the sorting effect by controlling the residence time of minerals in the magnetic field.

Operation Guide
1. Installation and commissioning

  • Install horizontally and make sure the equipment is stable.

  • Check the fastening status of each part.

  • No-load test run for 30 minutes

  • Adjust the angle of ore separating plate

2. Operation adjustment

  • Feed control:

    • Low grade ore: increase the thickness of material layer appropriately.

    • High-grade ore: reduce the layer of material to improve purity

  • Rotation speed adjustment:

    • Strong magnetic minerals: increase the speed

    • Weak magnetic minerals: reduce the speed

3. Key Precautions

  • Strictly prohibit foreign metal objects from entering the magnetic separation area

  • Material temperature should be <80℃.

  • Regularly check the surface cleanliness of the drum

  • Clean the adsorption on the surface of magnetic roller every shift

  • Check the belt tension

  • Record bearing temperature
