Rutile Beneficiation Solution, Rutile Gravity-Magnetic Separation Combined Beneficiation Process

I. Program Overview

Rutile (TiO₂), as an important titanium ore resource, is widely used in paint, welding rod, titanium dioxide and other industries. This rutile beneficiation solution adopts the "gravity-magnetic separation" combined process, through the multi-stage sorting design to realize the efficient separation of rutile and zircon, monazite and other associated minerals, the concentrate TiO₂ content can reach more than 90%, especially suitable for coastal sand ore and weathered crust type rutile ore sorting.


Process Flow

  1. Pre-treatment section

    • Adopting drum scrubber to remove shells, weeds and other impurities.

    • Processing capacity: 20-400t/h

    • Water consumption: 1-1.5t/t ore

  2. Gravity enrichment section

    • Roughing and sweeping by spiral chute group

    • Ore feeding concentration: 30-35%

    • Classification particle size: +0.074mm

    • Shaking table can be equipped to deal with -0.5mm fine grains.

  3. Magnetic separation section

    • Wet magnetic separator to remove ilmenite and other magnetic minerals

    • Field strength: 0.12-0.8T

    • Drying system adopts indirect heating (temperature ≤ 120 ℃)

    • Dry magnetic separator for final selection, field strength: 1.0-1.5T
